Roasted Pumpkin and Carrot Slices
Autumn menus should be filled with an abundance of seasonal vegetables, and roasted pumpkin and carrot slices are an excellent choice. Using the HYSapientia air fryer oven, you can easily cook golden pumpkin slices and crisp carrot slices. Operating Steps
  • STEP 1
    Prepare the carrots: Peel the carrots and slice them thinly or cut them into diagonal pieces to ensure even cooking
  • STEP 2
    Prepare the pumpkin: Peel the pumpkin and slice it thinly or into similar-sized pieces as the carrots.
  • STEP 3
    In a large bowl, place the sliced carrots and pumpkin. Mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, and dried rosemary or thyme (if using) to coat the vegetables evenly with the seasoning.
  • STEP 4
    Arrange the seasoned carrot and pumpkin slices evenly in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overlapping
  • STEP 5
    Close the air fryer basket and set the air fryer to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for a cooking time of approximately 15-20 minutes. Check the vegetables periodically, flipping them to ensure even cooking until they become golden brown and crispy
  • STEP 6
    Once the carrot and pumpkin slices are cooked, remove them and serve immediately. You can sprinkle a little extra salt and black pepper to taste.
